nat has been remanded for four days (starting today, not yesterday) until tuesday. we think he will be home then though we are not certain
he is not being charged. the investigation that he is supposedly helping out with has got to do with possessing and/or publishing an article which is supposedly an official secret. the actual article is nothing but a comment posted on nat’s blog. it was put there in 2006, and apparently they have been monitoring him since then. okay you guys can go look at it, it’s not even fully published on nat’s blog. plus i mean very big secret right something that’s there all over the freakin internet….
with regards to the actual remanding, the written application asked for seven days, but then they verbally asked for FOURTEEN. freaking…
jeff ooi had the results about an hour ago. elizabeth wong, i am very sure, has a much more clear and coherent account of events.
gotta do some driving. back later.
